Barbara S. Edwards, a native of Joliet, Illinois, is a graduate of Illinois State University. Mrs. Edwards is a noted soloist. She is the first lady of the Mount Zion Baptist Church, Charlottesville, Virginia. Mrs. Edwards coordinates the Women's Ministry of the Church and she is a dynamic singer and teacher of God's Word. She is married to the Rev. Alvin Edwards and is the mother of four children: Alvin, Brianna, Isaac and Brittany.
