      1. Original openback fretless banjo built by Fairbanks & Cole, Boston, 1882: natural gut strings, friction pegs, 11" mahogany hoop, natural skin head;
      2. Reproduction openback fretless banjo (copy of Wm. Boucher Minstrel Model, Baltimore, 1846) built by George Wunderlich, Wunder Banjo Company, Myersville, Maryland, 1998: natural gut strings, friction pegs, 11" oak hoop, natural skin head.

    Pennywhistle
    "D" whistle built by Chris Abell, Abell Flute Company, Asheville, North Carolina: African black wood, sterling silver mouthpiece and rings.
