Woods's Theatre, 13 August 1877

This production seems to be using the Aiken text without the "plantation" musical scenes of the Tom Shows, probably because the company is a small one. The most interesting aspect of the playbill, though, is the subtitle, "Life in the South as It Was." Many Tom Shows advertised the play as this kind of re-enactment, but putting the claim into the title is very unusual.
