The whole sequence is made up of six shots: 1 posse riding up; 2 putting up the poster; 3 fugitive slave in tree; 4 looking down at the posse; 5 posse riding off; 6 fugitive climbing down from tree. It's interesting to note how the camera angle in 4 locates viewers in the slave's point-of-view.
