[From] Early Openings to Lend Variety to AmusementsHuber's Fourteenth Street Museum has been in the hands of decorators and painters for some weeks. When the place is thrown open to the public to-morrow, therefore, it will present an entirely different appearance from that which it presented last season. There have been several changes in the seating accommodation, and breeze-giving apparatus has been provided. In the Curio Hall added space for exhibits and spectators has been secured by the removal of partitions. The bill for the coming week is as follows: in the Curio Hall will be Mettling and Bean in their cycle racing treadle; Miss Tunison, having no hands, sews, embroiders, plays musical instruments, and does many more things which are equally wonderful; Mme. Morelli and her spaniels, C. Robbins, the bag puncher; Jose Marty, clown juggler, and J. Page, clay modeler. In the theatre will be given the first production by the "Edison Projectescope of Uncle Tom's Cabin." Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hunn, colored comedians; the Bohmes, a funny German couple; Bryan and Raymond, and Smith and Smith will be on the programme. |
