"UNCLE TOM" AGAIN.—All doubt as to the personality of the Miss Parker who in 1853 played Emeline at the Chestnut-street Theatre, Philadelphia, is dispelled by Mr. C. B. Bishop, the comedian, who writes from the California Theatre, San Francisco, under date of Feb. 15, that "the lady was not Margaret, but Miss Josephine Parker, who embraced matrimony, and your humble servant at the same time, in 1862," and has long been in retirement. Mr. Bishop adds that he has some interesting unpublished data relative to the late James Delmon Grace, which he will forward as soon as he experiences a little relief from the press of business. |
