  At the CHESNUT, "U T C" is shelved, after a good run. . . .

  . . . Mr. Harris' "Uncle Tom's Saloon" opened, during the week, at the Assembly Buildings. We were not able to attend, and cannot speak of the arrangements. "Uncle Tom's Cabin" will be performed there during the week.

  SANFORD'S OPERA HOUSE, South Twelfth, below CHESNUT street.—This company keep up with the current of progress. Their entertainments are decidedly popular. The burlesque on "Uncle Tom's Cabin" will be given on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, with the burlesque on "Mons Julien and Rand." On Thursday evening, "Fra Diavolo" will be presented. A miscellaneous musical entertainment is given every evening. Siter's benefit will take place on Saturday evening.
