Unsigned Notice
18 February 1853

Providence (R.I.) gave birth last week to three new papers. Uncle Tom's Cabin, at a cent a number; the first number is out, and the second will come if, and when, that sells. The Rhode Island Freeman, is a resuscitation of the Free Democrat, which ceased shortly since, with change enough of identity to entitle it to a new name and registry. The Una is a new trumpet through which Mrs. PAULINE WRIGHT DAVID will sound out her ideas of women's rights. Our best wishes for all of them, and a large list to the right.
