Limoges Spill Vases

These expensive porcelain pieces were made in the Limoges region of France, where the main body was also decorated as part of the initial firing process. The finishing coloring, however, was typically done at decorating studios in various parts of Europe and the United States, according to the purchasers' specific orders, after which the vases were fired a final time.
